With Saturday night's win over Missouri Southern, Missouri Western clinched a berth in the MIAA Tournament in Kansas City.

The Griffons dominated the game from the start. Chemia Woods was very close to getting a triple double, only 3 rebounds and 2 points shy. Jill Johnson scored 19 and Yanique Javois scored 26 in the 70 to 58 victory. Tierra Ford chipped in for 9.

With this win they snuffed out the chances Fort Hays State had at the tournament.

The Griffons next battle is Thursday, March 6@ 12 p.m. against Washburn the #1 seed.
